Bozell Shines at PRSA Paper Anvils

Even though we are not competition hounds, it is still nice when we do well. At the annual Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Nebraska Chapter’s Gala last week, we were awarded eight Paper Anvils, five awards of excellence and three awards of merit. This year’s competition was judged by the Houston, Texas PRSA chapter.
This was truly an agency wide effort since we received awards in the areas of blogger outreach, web sites, special event/outreach/educational and/or tradeshow event, Read More

What Does A Conversation Look Like?

I was curious. And decided to do a little non-scientific research. So over the course of two days, I monitored and tracked several random online conversations. Then pulled 500+ snippets of the dialogue and created a quasi tag cloud of the conversations to see what it looked like.

We developed online and printed toolkits of marketing materials for use by more than 300 local associations, including print ads, radio spots, posters, collateral and more. Read More

A Tour to Remember

Cirque’s show Saltimbanco embarked on a tour of over 40 arenas across Canada and the United States. The new tour model allowed Cirque du Soleil to bring its shows to additional cities, giving more people than ever the opportunity to enjoy a Cirque du Soleil show in their own city. The tour made a stop in Kansas City, and our goal was to gain media coverage of the event and also increase ticket sales for the tour stop by reaching out to area residents in and around the Kansas City Metro area. The Greatest Show on Dirt

Morris Jacobs, one of our founders, was one of four Omaha businessmen to convince the NCAA to bring its men’s baseball tournament to the city in 1950. We’ve been involved in building the event ever since. And loved every minute of it.
Our job? To get the word out. To make sure those who plan to attend have all the information they need. To continuously promote the event in order to reach new prospects. Through a combination of advertising, Read More

Going the Distance

In 2008, two childhood friends decided to start their own distance relay race to raise awareness and money for the trails system of Nebraska. The Market to Market Relay stretched 86 miles from the Old Market in Omaha to the Historic Haymarket in Lincoln. The route started and ended on downtown brick roads, but it twisted through small towns and smaller farmsteads, into state parks, over streams and rivers, and across the plains of Nebraska.

With the route mapped and preparations made, Read More
