Robin Donovan Receives Enterprising Women of the Year Award

November 17th, 2021

President and co-owner of Bozell Robin Donovan today was awarded the 2021 Enterprising Women of the Year Award in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Donovan is one of just two entrepreneurs from Omaha to earn this year’s award that recognizes women business owners in the U.S. and globally.

The Enterprising Women of the Year Award is given to nominees who lead fast-growth businesses, mentor or actively support other women and girls involved in entrepreneurship, and stand out as leaders in their communities. Many of the honorees also serve as leaders of organizations that support the growth of women’s entrepreneurship.

Donovan has been in the ad industry for 40 years. This month is the 20th anniversary of when Donovan joined with three of her colleagues in buying back Bozell after it was acquired by Interpublic Group. This year is also the business’ 100th anniversary.

“My name is on this award but it would not have been possible without the many talented and hardworking people who have been a part of the Bozell team throughout these last two decades,” said Donovan. “It really is an award recognizing the amazing work we do together.”

A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Donovan has served on the board of the Connecticut Ad Club and the Business Marketing Association. She has also served on the boards of the Omaha Children’s Museum, the YWCA Omaha, Alzheimer’s Association of the Midlands and more. Robin is also a published author with three murder-mystery novels and an award-winning blog, Monologues.
