SHEBOYGAN, WI

I worked at the local grocery store, and the situations I dealt with are worthy of an Academy Award-winning all-star comedy.

My parents considered naming me Andre … after the champagne brand.

THE WIND – EDITOR-IN-CHIEF

In high school, I tried to convince our principal to allow us to run our annual “Ode to The Onion” issue, but failed because he deemed it too controversial for a student publication.

This was the genesis of my rebellious spirit and “question everything” attitude that has fostered my ability to critically evaluate both personal and professional challenges.

CREIGHTON UNIVERSITY

I went to Creighton with the idea of becoming a “serious journalist.”

I also thought I’d land a gig with a big-time concert or event promoter. I settled for a steady income.

After graduating, I chose my relationship with then-girlfriend, now-wife Laura and stayed in Omaha. Best life decision I ever made.

RICHDALE APARTMENTS – RESIDENT RELATIONS

This experience helped me master the arts of problem solving, persuasion and team leadership, but the stuffy corporate atmosphere grew tiresome.

BOZELL – TRAFFIC MANAGER

My previous position taught me to coordinate team efforts to provide excellent service and problem solving for clients. That has translated well into my position at Bozell as I ensure that we’re operating efficiently and delivering work on time and on budget.
