Cause Marketing and Pepsi Refresh

Many studies show the value of cause marketing. Aligning a brand with a cause that is valuable to the brand audience can be an important step for brand affinity. The Pepsi Refresh Project took this idea one step further and let people in social media decide the causes Pepsi would support. Various organizations could apply to be featured through the project and then advocate for their support network to go and vote for Pepsi to financially support their project. Scott Rowe to Speak at the University of Nebraska Kearney on November 29, 2012

Scott Rowe is speaking to a marketing class at his alma mater, the University of Nebraska Kearney, on Thursday, November 29, 2012. He will discuss agency life and marketing in the real world. Scott is Bozell’s partner in charge of digital. He is a digital marketing strategist who creates online marketing features that transform his clients’ ability to interact with and engage their audiences. His solutions have maximized digital dialogues for clients such as Mooney Aircraft, Timex and M&M Mars. Prior to Bozell, Scott worked as a photojournalist for a CBS affiliate. He now works on a variety of clients, including First National Bank, First National Technology Solutions, National Student Loan Program, Creative Marketing, CARSTAR, Right at Home, Tate & Lyle, Alegent Health Systems, YWCA, College World Series and Mooney Aircraft. Scott graduated from the University of Nebraska – Kearney with a major in journal broadcast and a minor in organizational communications.

Cars Designed For Women

In 1955, Chrysler offered the Dodge LaFemme for female car buyers. It was pink with pink interior and offered other female centric goodies such as a raincoat, rain hat, umbrella, and even a matching purse was available. Essentially the model was an upgrade specific for women. Only about 2,500 of these cars were made and Chrysler only offered them for two years. Nathan Anderson, information architect at Bozell, will be participating in DACUM (Develop A CurriculMM) at Western Iowa Tech Community College (WIT) in Sioux City, Iowa. During DACUM, the team will work on the development of their curriculum. They will be discussing what kind of program competencies and skill sets WIT needs to teach in order to create programs that include social media, marketing, graphic and web design, along with other design related venues. Midlands Business Journal of Greater Omaha, Lincoln, and Council Bluffs, today announced Scott Rowe, partner in charge of digital at Bozell, as one of the winners of their 40 Under 40. The 2012 Midlands Business Journal’s 11th annual 40 Under 40 Awards honors 40 entrepreneurs, executives and business and professional men and women under the age of 40.
