Creative marketing communications firm Bozell was honored by the 2016 Midas Awards for work with First National Bank of Omaha. Bozell received the Silver Midas for the Unforgettable First branded TV spots, and was named a Midas Finalist for the Unforgettable First long-form video and the Worry-Free Checking TV campaign.
According to their site, the Midas Awards recognizes excellence in financial advertising and marketing on a global scale, honoring the World’s Best Financial Advertising℠ in banking, brokerage, insurance, mutual funds, credit, real estate, accounting and consulting.
“We couldn’t be more proud of this work,” said Jackie Miller, Bozell CMO. “These awards are a testament to the strong relationship we have with First National Bank and the quality work that stems from that 60-year partnership.”
“The Unforgettable First TV spots and long-form video was developed to focus on the customer,” added Miller. “Putting people first is at the core of First National Bank’s philosophy and our goal with these spots was to convey that mission, while making an emotional connection with viewer.”
“The Worry-Free Checking campaign allowed us to showcase one of First National’s flagship products,” said Tim Young, creative director. “It played with the idea that you only notice some things when they don’t work. When your checking account doesn’t work, you are charged a fee. These spots show that checking with First National is worry free, allowing the customers to focus on the things that matter most to them.”
The Midas Grand Jury includes more than 50 client and agency leaders from the creative and marketing disciplines, as well as internationally recognized experts in financial policy and communications. For a full list of winners, visit midasawards.com.
