Bozell Digital Team Launches Educational iOS App to Help Students
Learn Science from Scientists through Science Explorer by Visionlearning

Bozell, a full-service advertising and public relations agency, created a new iOS app for its client, Visionlearning. “Science Explorer by Visionlearning” is an educational app with science-focused content for high school and undergraduate level students.

The Bozell in-house digital team constructed the app, which is now available in the Apple App Store.

“Visionlearning had two main goals with its new app; to present content in a new and interesting way and to provide offline access to the entire Visionlearning catalog. Bozell’s digital specialists were able to produce an app that has great, visually appealing online capabilities and transitions into offline seamlessly,” said Nathan Anderson, partner in charge of digital and a developer of the app. “Having this capability internally is a valuable service we provide to our clients in an ever increasing mobile environment.”

The Science Explorer app features multi-media content from Visionlearning’s award-winning science education website and focuses on promoting the understanding of what it is to be a scientist. Each module, tested and reviewed by students and teachers, provides a number of proven features aimed toward improving literacy and concept understanding. Users are also able to switch between English and Spanish versions of the text, listen to recordings of the modules and use an embedded science glossary.

“Science Explorer by Visionlearning” is a free app, and for an additional purchase allows users to download the entire Visionlearning library for offline use.
