I waitressed at Grandmother’s Restaurant and learned how to organize, prioritize and be extremely efficient.

UNIVERSITY OF KANSAS

Journalism major, emphasis in strategic communication, minor in English. Yep, I’m a grammar nut.

Go Jayhawks!

I studied abroad for a semester in Paderno del Grappa, Italy. It. Was. Amazing. I went skiing for the first – and last – time in the Alps (don’t ask).

SKAR ADVERTISING – INTERN

I took a year after college to travel and visit friends, so I wasn’t sure if I was too old when I finally set my sights on getting a job at an ad agency. Getting the internship at SKAR was an amazing moment, and afterward, I knew for sure that agency life was for me.

After this internship, I went on to be the product of two layoffs before age 30. But I believe they led me to where I was supposed to be – Bozell.

Does anyone else hear Rascal Flatts’ “Bless The Broken Road” playing?

NOBBIES – ADVERTISING COORDINATOR

After getting a taste of agency life, I moved on to the client side as the head of marketing. I was a one-woman show. I wrote copy, bought and placed media, directed and produced TV and radio spots, organized and promoted in-store events … you name it.

I find that all my strengths are a product of my previous work experiences, especially this one.

BOZELL – SENIOR COPYWRITER

After working on the Westlake Zombie campaign as a freelance writer, I was hired as a full-time copywriter by Bozell. I had worked my butt off for three months, making it impossible for them to not hire me, and it worked. I’ve been an official Bozeller since 2011, and I’ve never been happier. I’m home.
