Innovation is the way of life. Our species has been innovating for hundreds of thousands of years.
With all that experience, why can innovation seem so amoeba-like: tough to wrap your arms around, messy to manage with ever-moving boundaries?
As ambiguous as it can seem, innovation is essential to the health of every organization. In a world of constant change and development in every direction and dimension, the status quo, a business-as-usual culture can be the road to a dead end.
The truth is, innovation can be harnessed, and we are excited to introduce a thought leader on innovation who can provide guidance on doing so. Beginning the week of July 10 we are introducing, innovation expert and guest blogger, Dr. Mike Murray.
Dr. Murray is a veterinarian, and serves as a Technical Marketing Director for Boehringer Ingelheim’s Animal Health division. He is a life and leadership coach, as well as a certified trainer for Managing Innovation™ with his organization. Dr. Murray coaches individuals and teams to help them be even more successful innovators.
Our interest in and commitment to promoting processes and culture that foster innovation led us to Dr. Murray. We are grateful for his willingness to share his expertise through our blog. Watch for his first post the week of July 10, and periodically over the months ahead.
