Duane Siebler, partner in charge of brand navigation, and Steve Kuegler, partner in charge of Smartargeting, will be speaking to a group of Bachelor of Fine Arts students at Omaha’s Creative Center on January 28. They will present on business-to-business marketing and how it is similar yet different from marketing to consumers.
Duane serves as the partner in charge of Bozell’s Brand Navigation group. Duane’s career in marketing communications spans more than 15 years. Prior to joining Bozell, Duane was senior director of marketing at the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce where he was responsible for oversight of economic development marketing and communications activities focused on increasing business investments and jobs in the greater Omaha community. But the majority of his career has been spent in advertising agencies where he has served numerous clients, such as Tate & Lyle, ADM and Peter Kiewit & Sons. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska – Omaha with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and specializations in marketing and management.
Steve joined Bozell as managing partner of Bozell Smartargeting™ in 2006. He works closely with clients to develop highly-targeted database solutions. Prior to Bozell, Steve was vice president of database marketing services for an advertising agency in Kansas City. For nine years, he oversaw all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the department, as well as managed database programs for all clients, including Wal-Mart, Blockbuster Video, Bayer Animal Health, Butler Manufacturing, Thrifty Rental Car, Hallmark Loyalty, Anheuser-Busch Entertainment and Volvo Rents. Before his agency experience, Steve managed and developed new sales strategies at Dun & Bradstreet. Steve graduated from Milliken University in Decatur, Ill., with a degree in marketing and management information systems.
