Creative marketing communications firm Bozell received multiple industry awards at the 2014 Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Nebraska Paper Anvil Awards Gala on Wednesday.
Bozell was awarded four awards of merit for its work with Storz Brewing Company, the College World Series of Omaha, Inc., First National Bank Flex Savings and First National Bank Nebraska Education Savings Trust Program. The awards won are in the categories of events and observances and marketing consumer products.
Awards of merit are determined by the judges as entries that meet stated goals and demonstrate good results, according to PRSA Nebraska.
In addition to the campaign awards received, Bozell Public Relations Manager John Melingagio was awarded the 2014 Nebraska Chapter Service Award for his outstanding service as PRSA-PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America) Liaison. Melingagio was nominated for the award by members of the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s PRSSA chapter. His unwavering dedication in helping students to maximize their professional development aided the chapter in receiving the Dr. F.H. Teahan PRSA-PRSSA Relationship award at the 2014 PRSSA National Conference.
This award recognizes a chapter member who, through his or her service to the organization, has provided leadership, exceeded the expectations of his or her responsibility, or in some significant way, assisted in strengthening the chapter during the year, according to PRSA Nebraska.
