Scott Rowe and Scott Bishop to Present at the PRSA 2013 Midwest District Conference

Scott Rowe, partner in charge of digital, and Scott Bishop, strategist consultant, will be presenting at the PRSA 2013 Midwest District Conference on Thursday, July 25. Their presentation, titled “The Evolution of Content: Communicating with More than Words” will address the rise of infographics, photo sharing, video and visual storytelling to push PR professionals to rethink how they deploy their client’s messages. In a crowded content market, words often get overlooked and ignored. They will show to stay relevant, you must analyze how your audience consumes content and use the new tools to give them what they want. In this presentation, they will discuss the content trends that are now the norm and the new tools to deliver them. Attendees will learn how two digital marketers were able to use a combination of visual messages to get 70 million views without using paid media.

Scott Rowe is Bozell’s partner in charge of digital. He is a digital marketing strategist who creates online marketing features that transform his clients’ ability to interact with and engage their audiences. His solutions have maximized digital dialogues for clients such as Mooney Aircraft, Timex and M&M Mars. Prior to Bozell, Scott worked as a photojournalist for a CBS affiliate. He now works on a variety of clients, including First National Bank, First National Technology Solutions, National Student Loan Program, Creative Marketing, CARSTAR, Right at Home, Tate & Lyle, Alegent Health Systems, YWCA, College World Series and Mooney Aircraft. Scott appeared in Bozell’s episode of AMC’s “The Pitch” and graduated from the University of Nebraska – Kearney with a major in journal broadcast and a minor in organizational communications.

Scott Bishop is a strategist consultant who crafts and executes digital marketing and social media strategies for clients. Previously with Bozell and PhenomBlue, Scott owns his own consulting firm and advises clients on the use of social media tools, grassroots consumer outreach programs and in-depth educational webinars. He starred on Bozell’s episode of AMC’s “The Pitch” and has been published in the Chicago Tribune, Time Out Chicago, Shout Omaha, and in the world’s biggest social media website Mashable.com. He has also published two social media marketing books for the Financial Times Press. Scott graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Bradley University.
