Nan Pike
Broadcast Production Manager

LINCOLN, NE

Driving through Kings on Saturday nights and going to the drive-in theater were childhood staples. I had a variety of jobs throughout high school, from babysitting the neighbor’s monster kids to driving the truck for a hay crew to working at a nursery and garden center.

LINCOLN TECHNICAL COLLEGE

I eventually went on to receive my associate degree in applied arts, and for some time, I thought I might be an architect.

HINKY DINKY – ASSISTANT TO THE VICE PRESIDENT OF DISTRIBUTION

I spent a summer in the 70s volunteering in Calgary, Canada, but eventually decided I should get my act together and do something that would benefit my career.

In all my jobs, I’ve worked with many different personalities. I think this is a good thing, because you never know which interesting, quirky personality will be the next creative genius.

BOZELL CORPORATE BROADCAST BUSINESS AFFAIRS – ASSISTANT TO EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

I had been looking for a challenging, interesting job when I was referred here by a job service recruiter. As they say, the rest was history.

I once got the date wrong on Tina Turner’s talent contract. I now always triple-check the details on everything!

BOZELL – BROADCAST PRODUCTION MANAGER

Since starting in 1980, my biggest accomplishments at Bozell are simple: getting a handle on broadcast production contracts and talent contracts, and learning how to explain talent holding and use fees.

Words to live by: If you fall off, just pick yourself up and get back on.
